Overview

Le Dellys is a charming Algerian restaurant located at 5 Rue des Deux Gares, right in the heart of Paris’s vibrant 10th arrondissement. This spot offers an authentic taste of North African cuisine, blending rich flavors with a welcoming atmosphere. Renowned for its hearty main dishes like the Tajine Aux Pruneaux and comforting Blanquette de Veau, Le Dellys brings traditional Algerian and French-inspired fare to the table with finesse.

The menu stands out with diverse offerings such as the Steak À Cheval and the uniquely Parisian twist of Pizza Kebab, reflecting the fusion of cultures within the area. For those who appreciate classic desserts, the Tarte Au Citron Meringuée provides a bright citrus finish that balances the robust spices of the main courses. Casual yet soulful, the space invites a range of customers—from locals dropping in for a quick, satisfying meal to visitors eager to explore Algerian flavors beyond the usual Parisian staples.

The experience is enhanced by a well-curated selection of shots, featuring vodka bases like Get 31 and Kahlua, alongside tequila options that complement the rich dishes and lively ambiance. Though the venue is often buzzing, it maintains a friendly, almost family-run vibe, with attentive service that many guests, including visitors and frequents, praise for adding warmth to the dining experience.

While some note that the interior could benefit from a little more upkeep and that the music can get loud, the overall impression is one of authenticity and comfort. The restaurant’s proximity to Gare du Nord makes it a favored stop for travelers seeking an inviting refuge with hearty couscous and flavorful tagines. Whether you’re looking for a casual meal or a place to unwind with interesting cocktails and traditional dishes, Le Dellys offers a genuine taste of Algerian cuisine amid the lively Parisian urban landscape.

In summary, Le Dellys is a distinctive and satisfying culinary destination that combines rich flavors, friendly service, and a vibrant setting. It’s especially recommended for those keen to explore Algerian classics such as couscous and tagine alongside inventive offerings, making it a noteworthy spot in Paris’s diverse food scene.

My partner and I are visiting Paris and noticed this restaurant and bar is always busy. We went and had the chicken tagline and vegetarian couscous. It was amazing - one of the best meals we’ve had. Prices were reasonable, the owners / staff were very nice, and the atmosphere was very cool indoors and outside. We want to go back to try the brick dishes, which we understand are like crepes with eggs and other filling. Highly recommend!

This place has great food and the servers are awesome. It’s very different from what you’d expect for a dinner in Paris. I got the Mason, which was stew, meats, and couscous. I’ve been here twice and have been very happy both times. Highly recommend.

The place is not well maintained but the staff was friendly. Seems like a family business. Food was average and the music was too loud. It is a good option if you want something quick during rush hours.

Came here on a whim and had the best food we had in all of Paris! Had to come back twice. The food is out of this world good (I recommend the normandy chicken). The service is phenomenal and extremely friendly, so much so that we were greeted with a huge high five and smiles when we came back the second time. Also, my mom dropped her fork, and our server literally came out with another one before we even told him!! He said he recognized it was a fork dropping by the sound it made! My new favorite place in france, and my whole family got a photo with our waiter before we left. IF YOU WANT GREAT FOOD AND EVEN BETTER SERVICE, GO HERE!
